DIYリフォーム パート28 - 二重窓化のための木製窓枠・木製サッシの作成 / DIY Home Renovation Part 28 - Building of  wooden window sills/frames for double windows 一階に戻ってまいりました。写真が暗くて申し訳ないです。家の玄関側の窓枠と同時期にに取り付けられた愛想のない80年代のアルミサッシです。ここは取り換えずに、見た目改善のた内窓を作ります。 Now we are back to the first floor. And I apologize for the photo being dark. The windows are the boring 80's style aluminum models the same as the ones that were on the entrance side. The plan here is to not replace them but add internal windows for cosmetics. 先ずサッシの溝を切ります。こちらは浅い方で下になります。 First, we do the grooving. These has the shallow grooving which will go to the bottom side. こちらは深い方で上側の溝になります。 These are the deeper grooving which will go to the top side. 取り付けた状態です。写真だけ見ると簡単ですが、溝切に物凄い量のオガクズが出て掃除が大変でした。もちろんこれからの方が大変な訳ですが・・・。  Below are the window sills attached. It looks easy if you just look at the photos, but the grooving cutter gives out a huge amount of sawdust which is a bit of a task to clean up. Of course, the going gets tougher from

 ノートパソコンのHDDをSSDに / Replacing an HDD with an SSD for notebooks 手垢のついた内容ですが、古いパソコンでもHDDをSSDに換装すればまだまだ快適に使える場合が多いです。この写真のパソコンはVaioがソニーだった頃のVGN-G3というモデルで、Core 2 DuoというCPUが載っているモデルです。メモリは4GBだったかと。2008年くらいのモデルだったと思うので10年選手ですね。パソコンゲームや動画作成などは無理がありますが、このスペックでもSSDにさせすれば事務作業から音楽や動画の視聴程度であればバッチリです。 This is already an old subject but even if your PC was quite old, if you could replace your HDD with an SSD, there is a good chance that it can still be used comfortably. The photo is of a notebook PC from Vaio back when it was Sony, by the model name VGN-3G which had a Core 2 Duo CPU with 4GB of ram. I believe it was a 2008 model? If that's the case, it's been around for 10 years. DIYリフォーム パート27 - 今ならプライバシー付き! / DIY Home Renovation Part 27 - Now comes with privacy! 前回言いそびれましたがご覧の通り小屋梁（天井の梁）の間に目の字構造を渡して天井になる合板を取り付けます。 Last time I forgot to mention but as you can see there is a ladder-shaped structure fastened to the tie beams for screwing on plywood for a ceiling. 撮ったはずの写真が見当たらないのでお見せできませんが、天井にも青い断熱材を入れました。下はトイレと脱衣所の壁ですが、合板で蓋をする前にやはり断熱材を入れます。これで壁、床、天井とこの部屋は断熱材が入ったことになります。 The photo I had taken seems to have its own mind and gone somewhere so I can't post it but before the ceiling was done, we also inserted the blue thermal insulation there as well. The below shows the dressing room and the toilet, where you can see the insulation material inserted before the plywood goes on.
