DIYリフォームパート25 - ユニットバスの取り付け / DIY Home Renovation Part 25 - The installment of the modular bathroom

前回はここまでで合板が途中まででしたので、以下の写真を見ていただくと取り付け前と後の感じが分かると思います。ちなみに梁の位置はユニットバスをボルトで留める位置にあるそうです。

Last time the plywood wasn't done. If you could check out the two images below, you can see how it was done. By the way, it seems the beams are located where the modular bathroom will be bolted on.

ついでに2Fのキッチン流しを取り付けます。多分重量がきになってシンプルなのを選んだんでしょうね。

At the same time, the 2nd-floor kitchen sink will be installed. I believe a very minimalistic unit was chosen as being cautious regarding the weight.

勿論ピンクのパイプがお湯で、青が水です。

Of course, the pink pipe is for hot water and the blue is for cold water.

窓にニシコリクシル！テレビで錦織選手が宣伝してますね。

Nishikoliksil on the window! There's a TV commercial with Nishikori advertising the brand.

天井との間は結構あいてます。換気扇が入るにしても結構なスペースですが、収納にするのは面倒らしく塞がれる予定です。

The space between the roof is quite high. Even with venting fan space, there will be a lot of dead space, but it seems we will slack off on doing any storage, so the plan is to just cover the area.

天井との差が見えます。結構位置が高いので、ここに収納を作ったら開かずの収納になる可能性は高いですね。

You can see the space between the roof. It's quite high up so if we did make storage here, there is a high chance that it will turn into "the forbidden storage".

入り口はこちら！壁に取り付けられた窓がちゃんとユニットバスの開口部に合ってますね。ちなみにユニットバス自体はちゃんと業者さんにお願いしました。設置場所の準備だけでも大変でしたけどね。

Enter here! We can see the window installed to the wall is fitting the opening of the modular bathroom. By the way, the installing of the modular bathroom was done by professionals. Preparing the space was hard enough though.

日本では典型的なユニットバスですが、海外の人には小さく見えるでしょうね。

This is a typical size for a Japanese modular bathroom, but I guess it'll look tiny for people overseas.

DIYリフォームパート30 - 化粧 / DIY Home Renovation Part 30 - Cosmetics 今回でとりあえず撮りだめた分は終わりです。窓をやりながら化粧をやっていったわけですが、ほとんどの壁は珪藻土です。例のネリードというブランドのもので、非常に塗りやすくておすすめです。編者もこれ以前はコテで珪藻土をぬるという経験は無かったのですが、簡単すぎて拍子抜けです。広告費が出てるわけではないですよ！ただ、水性とはいえ床に落とすと拭かなければいけないので、それなりに体力は使います。 These are the end of the photos that have been taken for the moment. DIYリフォームパート29 - 窓地獄 / DIY Home Renovation Part 29 - Windows Hell おっと、マイクロソフトの悪口はそこまでだ！異常に窓の多い作りで建物の片側がほとんど窓という状況なので、以前の二重窓化の作業が延々と続きます。やってることは一緒なのでさらっとお写真だけ。 Stop right there!
