予告通り最初はトイレをやります。何というかお化けが住んでそうですよね。用を足す際に肝試しもしないといけないという不要なチャレンジを生み出しています。

As mentioned, the toilet fix comes first. I mean this looks like where the Japanese ghosts will like to chill. It adds unnecessary challenges to releasing your number ones and twos.

実は奥の壁は既に白く塗っていたんですが、全く助けになっていませんでした。横の壁をピンクに塗ってようやく雰囲気が和らぎます。

Actually, the wall at the far end was already painted white but didn't help much. The impression was improved only after painting the side walls pink.

ピンクは人を落ち着かせる効果があるといいます。皆様が安らかにことを致せますように、この色が選ばれました。勿論この辺は適当なことを書いています。

Pink says to have the properties to calm people. So for your inner peace, while passing, pink was the pick. Of course, I'm just making that up here.

最後に内窓を取り付けて二重窓に。当初の目的としては不気味さの緩和も去ることながら冬の寒さ対策だったのですが、実際は建物の古さのせいかそれだけでは不足でした。奥の壁の向こうは外壁なのでガイナというロケット工学的な断熱性能のある塗料を使用していますが、昔の木造モルタルは相当断熱が弱いということですね。

Finally, we made it a double window. The aim was for the creature comfort in the wintertime as well as lowering the creep factor, but it wasn't actually enough to overcome the old build of the house. Actually, the other side of the white wall is the outer wall, so we even used a paint called Gaina with rocket science heat insulation tech, but even that couldn't beat the old wooden / mortar structure.

DIYリフォームパート30 - 化粧 / DIY Home Renovation Part 30 - Cosmetics 今回でとりあえず撮りだめた分は終わりです。窓をやりながら化粧をやっていったわけですが、ほとんどの壁は珪藻土です。例のネリードというブランドのもので、非常に塗りやすくておすすめです。編者もこれ以前はコテで珪藻土をぬるという経験は無かったのですが、簡単すぎて拍子抜けです。広告費が出てるわけではないですよ！ただ、水性とはいえ床に落とすと拭かなければいけないので、それなりに体力は使います。 These are the end of the photos that have been taken for the moment. DIYリフォームパート29 - 窓地獄 / DIY Home Renovation Part 29 - Windows Hell おっと、マイクロソフトの悪口はそこまでだ！異常に窓の多い作りで建物の片側がほとんど窓という状況なので、以前の二重窓化の作業が延々と続きます。やってることは一緒なのでさらっとお写真だけ。 Stop right there!
