DIY リフォーム パート４ -  トイレのドアの付け替え / DIY Renovation Part 4 - Replacing the toilet door 上が取り付けた新しいドア。下が取り外した古いドア。 下の古いドアの方が明らかに低いので『ん？元写真の縦横比が違うのかな？』と思った方もおられるかと。 Above is the replaced new door. Below is the removed old door. DIY リフォーム パート３ - トイレの塗装と2重窓 / DIY Renovation Part 3 - Painting the toilet and double windows 予告通り最初はトイレをやります。何というかお化けが住んでそうですよね。用を足す際に肝試しもしないといけないという不要なチャレンジを生み出しています。 As mentioned, the toilet fix comes first. I mean this looks like where the Japanese ghosts will like to chill. It adds unnecessary challenges to releasing your number ones and twos. 実は奥の壁は既に白く塗っていたんですが、全く助けになっていませんでした。横の壁をピンクに塗ってようやく雰囲気が和らぎます。 Actually, the wall at the far end was already painted white but didn't help much. The impression was improved only after painting the side walls pink. ピンクは人を落ち着かせる効果があるといいます。皆様が安らかにことを致せますように、この色が選ばれました。勿論この辺は適当なことを書いています。 Pink says to have the properties to calm people. So for your inner peace, while passing, pink was the pick. Of course, I'm just making that up here. 最後に内窓を取り付けて二重窓に。当初の目的としては不気味さの緩和も去ることながら冬の寒さ対策だったのですが、実際は建物の古さのせいかそれだけでは不足でした。奥の壁の向こうは外壁なので ガイナ というロケット工学的な断熱性能のある塗料を使用していますが、昔の木造モルタルは相当断熱が弱いということですね。 Finally, we made it a dou

DIY リフォーム パート1 - 古い一軒家 / DIY Renovation - This old house DIY とは何であるかという定義の話になると国によって意見の違いが出てくると思います。某古い一軒家を大分以前からリフォームしているのですが、日本ではどうやらDIYを標榜するには若干苦しいようです。 DIY Renovation I believe in defining the word DIY, there will be some differences of opinion among Nations.
